8 Frequently Asked Questions
1. What destinations do you recommend?
Well the answer to this question is, what interests do you have, do you prefer to be adventurous or relaxed? You may have have enjoy cultural immersion or love lounging or swimming at the beach. Let us know what your preferences are.
2. What are the popular tourist attractions or must sea landmarks in a specific destination?
This all depends on the location or region your are travelling to; an example would be the Louve in Paris, Table Mountain in South Africa, Uluru Northern Territory in Australia, Colosseum in Italy, just to nane a few. What sparks your interest?
3. What is the best time to visit a specific destination?
That really depends on what type of weather you prefer. For my us, for European travel we prefer to travel at the end of September early October as this is the end of their summer season (and cooler too).
Their peak Season is from June to September (however this could be very crowded), alternatively late March to early June or September to November (great if you are going on a cruise), are the best times to visit, especially if you want to avoid a high volume of tourist traffic.
4. Are there any travel advisories or safety concerns in a specific destination?
It is absolutely crucial for you to stay informed so that you are always in the loop, for anyone travelling from Australia, please check smartraveller on the government website, for international travellers please check your government websites as these should have all the information regarding safe or no-go destinations.

5. What are the visa requirements or any necessary travel documents for visiting a specific destination?
This all depends on where and how you are travelling, for example, Australian citizens travelling to New Zealand do not require a visa, they do need to show their passport, for British citizens who are residents in Australia do need a visa.
It all depends on the destination, and if you are going in cruise ships, you must have your valid passport with a minimum 6 months validity at the time of arriving back to your original destination or more than 6 months. An example of this would be that in the middle of your travel your passport was due to expire, you would not be able to exit the destination that you are in or enter the original country that your destination started in.
It is best to check on the government website of your country for Australian's it is Smartraveller.
6. What are the local customs, etiquette and cultural expectations in a specific destination?
When in Australia it is polite to use your manners, for example saying yes please or no thanking when being offered a beverage or something to eat, when speaking to someone look into their eyes (for Indigenous Australian's do not look them in the eye, but a little bit lower as this shows a sign of respect).
Please ask for any questions that you have about etiquette and customs in other countries.
7. Are there any specific health or vaccination requirements for travelling to a specific destination?
One thing that I will say is ensure that you have had your tetanus vaccination, if yours was ivermectin ten years ago, it may not be effective, always check with your local practitioner/doctor before going on your vacation.
Australians travelling overseas can look at The Australian Immunisation Handbook which can be found i the government website as follows:

8. Do I need travel insurance?
It is recommended to have travel insurance as you never know what may happen. For example your luggage may delayed or just never arrive at your destination, your travel documents may be stolen, so it always best practice to have travel insurance (my husband and I always have travel insurance).
on our most recent cruise leaving from Miami our ship was delayed by 3 days, this meant that we needed to book an additional 3 nights accommodation, as we wanted to stay where we were, this became a very expensive trip, as the extra 3 nights cost the same amount as a 3 day cruise.
